eVisa Process (Update)

Those who received a ticket to attend Papal Mass (5 November 2022) in Bahrain can easily obtain an eVisa for Bahrain by uploading the Papal Mass Ticket and a copy of your Passport.  

Below is the updated process for obtaining the eVisa.

Step-by-step instructions to be followed to obtain an eVisa.

1. Login to the www.evisa.gov.bh website.
2. Select Apply and Eligibility button.

• Select YES/NO, if you do/don’t have a valid residence permit for a GCC Country. If YES, please select the country then enter the following details as given below:
  • Purpose of your visit: Tourism
  • Detailed purpose: Other
  • Description of purpose of visit: Papal Mass
  • Select your Nationality (as shown in your passport)

3. On the following page, select the type of visa as ‘Visit Visa (GCC) – 2 Weeks Single Entry' and click ‘Apply Now'.
4. Fill in the required details on the ‘Application for a Visa for Bahrain’ page.
5. Go to the next page and upload a copy of your passport and papal mass ticket. Repeat the process (uploading passport and ticket) for the fields of "Return Air Ticket" and "Hotel booking". Now you will see that the "Next" button is active. Click to proceed to the next step. 
6. On the following page, you will get the Visa number. Click ‘Pay’ on this page.
7. Go to the payment page and fill in the credit card details to pay and complete the Visa procedures. Please note that this system accepts only credit cards.
